Meeting
April 24, 2008
Peg Arguimbau Chairman, Hank Langstroth, Katherine Roth, and Elizabeth McGrath were the members present.
7:30 p.m. Mr. Uliano met informally with the Commission to discuss Warrant Article 24 of the May 5, 2008 Town Meeting:
Mr. Uliano appeared before the Commission to express his concern about the passive recreation and land preservation language mentioned in Article 24 relating to the Cedar Swamp parcels. He explained to the Commission that he doesn’t want the general public using the parcel identified as 36R Norfolk Place.
Peg indicated that Town Counsel might be able to work something out with regard to restricted access.
Mr. Uliano expressed his interest in attending the April 28, 2008 Open Warrant Meeting for the May 5, 2008 Town Meeting.
Other Business:
Peg updated the Commission on the Open Space and Recreation Planning Committee.
She stated that the Open Space Surveys have been tabulated.
Peg anticipates that the Massapoag Sportsmen’s Club is planning to meet with the Commission on May 1.
